Post surgery - Day 4
We didn't get up as early as I had hoped, so we didn't get down to Madison until 11:00am, but when we got hear Amy looked MUCH better and had just gotten back into bed after walking to the end of the hall and sitting with Randy & Denise for about 30 or 40 minutes.
I had warned the kids about too much noise and not jumping up on Amy's bed. They really listened and Vinny & Hope even made her some get well cards. I'm not sure how long we'll be down here today, but Amy has really enjoyed seeing the kids.
Please feel free to come and visit her as she would LOVE to see everyone, but I would ask if you plan on bringing little ones to keep it short. Thank you for understanding!

I continue to praise God for His healing hand and guidance He provided the surgeons during Amy's surgery! We found out today that they only had to remove 25% of her stomach instead of the usual 40%! We also found out that they removed the tumor intact, that means that they didn't have to slice it off in pieces and risk small pieces falling away. And possibly the best news yet was that microscopic inspection of the surounding tissue (Liver, Intestine, the rest of the Pancreas, etc) at the time of surgery showed NO instance of cancerous cells!

Vince and Amy after reading the recent update all I can think of is Amazing Grace, the song! I know the road is still long but answered prayers need thank you and AMEN. What a wonderous, merciful, loving father we have.

Amy and Vince,
We praise God with you and know that our God is truly awesome. Please know that a day doesn't go by without our family taking time to pray for you. You both have taught all of us how to walk though a trail with grace and strenght.
We have always believed in the power of prayer, this just makes it even stronger.

Amy and Vince,
We are so very happy for all the good news. Our God is truly an awesome God.
We will continue to offer prayers daily for the management of pain, quick and total healing.

Amy and Vince,
HALLELUIAH!!! GOD is so AWESOME! I started reading your blog and was just smiling away and praising Him and Thanking Him for your family, and then when I got to the end and saw that about no cancerous cells I realized that tears were flowing down my face. God is so awesome, and HE really can do anything if we jsut give it all up to Him!! Amy you have been such a blessing in so many lives, and I give thanks for the continuous healing, and I KNOW that we will see you at the campout next year!!!
