Chemo continues

Amy was able to have her next Chemo treatment today and while it did wipe her out (she slept most of the evening), she didn't seem to be as out of it as she did the first time. They also gave her some medication that we will have to administer via syringe Wednesday through Sunday, once each day. This will help maintain her white blood cell counts.
I just wanted to again thank those of you who have helped us out or have cooked us a meal or in one way or another have given of yourselves. Every meal has been enjoyed, every favor appreciated and every gift cherished. Thank you.

Ecc 4:10 - If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up.

This is Amy's story as seen and told by me - V

Amy and Vince,

I just wanted you to know that I read the Blog everyday. I want to call you to see if there is anything I can assist with or just to see how you are doing, but I am not home until the evening and I do not want to intrude on your family time. I do want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers everyday. If there is anything I can do let me know. You can reach me at 355-9930 or 963-8301 anytime. Nancy Parkinson

Good Evening Amy and Vince,

A couple of years ago I had Vinny in VBS and I do so again this year. Lucky me!! When I told Christy that I'd be a tribe leader I gave her a few names of kidlets I'd like to have and she gave me each of them. I know you already know this but he's a great little boy with a curious mind. For me, that is to be preferred to the child under whom I must light a fire. Monday we talked about how everyone needs a savior because we do things that are wrong and no matter how hard we try, we'll never be able to make it 'right'. Today we discussed that we need to make room for God in our lives. Tomorrow our savior is going to be born and we have a great opportunity to pray with the children to receive Christ. We miss you not being there Amy but God had another plan for you just now. I got a great hug from Brit the other night and she told me she has her permit. Love you all. Bonnie
