Tests, Sisters and the return of PURPLE
Amy had another 3.1 liters of fluid drained from her today and tonight they performed a CT Scan. She went down to Madison with her mother and all three of her sisters met them there. All of them will be traveling up here afterward and spending the night with us (I told Kelly, her OLDER sister that I’ve set up a cot for her out in the garage!) and then all of us will be going back down tomorrow for more tests and to find out the results from her doctor.
I am very tired…physically, emotionally and spiritually. I may add to this later in the evening, but for now I have no more to say. PLEASE don’t forget to support Amy by wearing purple tomorrow and if someone, who isn’t wearing purple, asks you why, tell them about Amy. If you can, please drop a quick comment letting us know that you wore purple, it really does Amy’s heart good to read about those who have and continue to show their support.

Thank you so much for keeping everyone posted. Although I don't post comments often, I do read the blog weekly, pray and share the prayer requests with Ray also. I wore purple to school today where they were getting ready to spend the afternoon celebrating Halloween. You should have seen some of those decorations. I had one teacher ask about you today and I shared the need for continued prayer with her. We plan to drop off the November schedule sometime this evening. If you aren't home yet, we'll just stick it inside the storm door with lots of love and prayers tucked inside! Bonnie and David - btw -we read your blog daily

I wore my puple bracelet to work today since I don't have purple scrubs. I asked a few people who were wearing purple if it was in Amy's honor. A couple were yes's and the one's who just happen to wear purple today were wearing it for Amy after I told them about her heroic story!
I should post more, but know that your keeping up with the blog is not for nothing. I check it daily and my prayers are never ceasing.

Since I am in Dallas on a business trip, my wardrobe is limited - and no purple with me. Regardless, I proceeded to inform my colleagues today (Thursday) of Amy's situation, as well as new business associates here in Dallas that I will be working closely with over the next several months. All expressed best wishes, and the utmost of support, for your entire family. When I asked for prayer, there were a couple of people that were courageous enough to inform me that they fully understood the power of prayer, and would be doing so on Amy's behalf. Praise God that Christians everywhere rise to the call when one of their own needs to be lifted up to Him.

Amy & Vince...I wore my PANCAN fleece pullover yesterday to keep you in my thoughts & prayers. I have to confess that it's black -- but the PANCAN lettering is purple!

I just want you to know that our prayers are with you guys. I know it is difficult and I can't imagine what you are going through but I am thinking about you and sending good thoughts your way!
I always remember how much fun we had at Blessed Sacrament and our sleep overs at each other's houses. I can't believe how fast time goes. I never thought I would be grown up fast enough and now I don't want my son to grow up. Kind of ironic isn't it?

I want you to know that while we haven't contacted you in a while, you have been on our minds and in our prayers every single day. Not a day goes by that I don't check the blog and see what you are up too, how you are feeling, and mostly, to see what you are sending from the scriptures. Your messages are powerful and hold so much meaning to all of our lives. Thank you. There have even been a few times that your blog has had the same scriptures and message as the following Sunday sermon. We will all be wearing purple on Wednesday and Thursday (because we can, and because it is important) and storming the gates with many, many prayers. You won't be alone the next few days--we've got your back covered!!

Sherrianne, Wendy Noyes' daughter, made you a get well card, Amy. She wants me to take it to you and I will just as soon as we're able. If it weren't for Dave being in Dallas we'd be up there tomorrow night. You are all warriors, keep up the good fight and the good faith which we are only able to do through God's strength and not our own. We love you and are thinking and praying for the whole family.

I don't know what to say Vince and Amy, I wish you didn't have to go down this road. Be good to yourselves. I hope you know that I didn't mean to neglect emailing you before. I have enjoyed the blog. I think you will be more mature spiritually then I ever hope to be. Please take this as a compliment. We're all warriors, but some were meant to be commanders. My heart is with you all. Stay golden.
