HAPPY BIRTHDAY TREVOR!
The next 3 or 4 days are going to be long and exhausting as today is the Pizza Hut fundraiser, tomorrow is the visitation and Saturday is the funeral. If you are planning on eating at Pizza Hut in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls, Iowa or Baraboo, Wisconsin areas today, you can scroll down to the November 9th BLOG posting and print out a copy of the flier if you need. Dairy Queen in Baraboo has also decided to join in today as well and they will be donating 10% of today’s sales towards Amy's medical expenses.
The ebb and flow of well wishers has started to dwindle…all of the kids are back in school and life continues to move forward. Today is Trevor’s 14th birthday, so young and yet becoming quite the young man. I’m proud of you son and I promise to be the best dad I can be.
In Ecclesiastes 3 it says:
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.
What does the worker gain from his toil? I have seen the burden God has laid on men. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live. That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil—this is the gift of God. I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that men will revere him.

To the Howard Family;
I am so sorry for your loss. Amy was a very special person. She had a gift for bringing people in and making them feel wanted. I had the pleasure of getting to know Amy as we sat and gabbed two summers ago at Vinny's(my son Hunter played on Vinny's team) little league games. Hope and my son would play, and Amy and I would watch the game and visit. Amy was my son's Sunday School teacher and he just adored her. You are a wonderful family, and although you do not know me well, all of you have a special place in my heart. God bless you! Happy Birthday Trevor!

Happy 14th Birthday Trevor!!!! God danced the day you were born!!!! Vince, what a beautiful tribute to Amy in the paper today. You two are a beautiful couple. We loved the picture. I cannot imagine the emotions that you are going through right now. I was listening to my favorite radio station and Cry out to Jesus was playing. I thought of you, the kids and the rest of your family. There is not a moment that goes by, that I'm not sharing something about Amy and all she has done for us. I will talk about her love for the Lord and her wonderful friendship to anyone who listens. Her faith, strength will live on through you, and the kids. What a beautiful testimony she has left for all of us. Cry out to Jesus!!! He is our Rock, Our Savior!! You are not alone. Your brothers and sisters in Christ are with you every step of the way.
Happy 14th Birthday Trevor.
I know mom is singing to you honey.

I BET PIZZA HUT IS SETTING A RECORD. I JUST ORDERED MY PIZZA AND THEY SAID IT WAS GONNA BE AN HOUR WAIT. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE WE HAD TO WAIT AN HOUR FOR PIZZA. I CAN ONLY HOPE THAT MEANS EVERYONE HAS USED THEIR "SUPPORT AMY DAY" FLIER. I HAVE TO GO NOW AND GET MY PIZZA AND PROBABLY SOME ICE CREAM FROM DAIRY QUEEN.
MY PRAYERS AND LOVE ARE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
LOVE, ANGIE KRUEGER( THE PENZKOVERS DAUGHTER)

Howard family, My heart aches for you in your loss, I pray that you feel the arms of our Lord around you at this time. You are an awesome example of courage and faith for the rest of us, Amy touched many lives including my son who she taught in sunday school. She always took time to make him feel welcomed and loved. I thank God that I had the opportunity to get to know her, and that she touched our lives. Your family is an example for us to live by. Thank you for your faith and who you all are. God Bless.

Hi, My name is Brittany, with my friend Jenna and we go to school with Trevor. We just wanted to tell you that we hoped and prayed for Amy the last couple of weeks. We're sorry to hear what happened, but just think that she is in a place now where she can't feel pain. For your family we would like to purchase a sweatshirt to show how much we care. We just need to know who to make the check out to, and what are the prices for
each sweatshirt size.
Thanks for taking your time to read this, and please email us information at briterz93@hotmail.com, and also jenna-bobenna @hotmail.com

I just wanted to say I hope the Pizza Hut Flyer was a hugh success! When we called at 7 pm in Waterloo it was 1 hr 20 min wait for delivery, and 50 min for pick up's. Amy's touched more peoples lives than we can imagine.

CANCER IS SO LIMITED
It cannot cripple love
It cannot shatter hope
It cannot corrode faith
It cannot eat away peace
It cannot destroy confidence
It cannot kill friendship
It cannot shut out memories
It cannot invade the soul
It cannot reduce eternal life
It cannot quench the spirit
It cannot lessen the Power
of the Resurrection

TO MY GOOD FRIENDS, THE HOWARDS
Amy and Vince Howard were a part of a dinner group that included the Vetgers, Considines, Vanden Langenberg's and us, the Cunninghams.
We met in a Christian atmosphere about every 6 weeks and the host family would make out a menu and tell the other families what to make and bring. These times were some of the best times that we have ever had. We laughed, picked on each other, laughed, supported each other, laughed, prayed, laughed, played practical jokes, laughed and then we would eat. Amy Howard was a HUGE part of this and she was usually out front on the laughing part of our evening (did I mention that we laughed). She and Vince hosted some of the best dinner groups that we had!
Amy's favorite joke, Pat: "Hey Vince, I have an uncle in Alaska". Vince: "Nome"? Pat: "Of course I know him, he's my uncle" Vince: "Hey Pat, I have an Aunt in Alaska". Pat: "Juneau"? Vince: "Of course I know her, she's my aunt".
Mary and I will miss Amy and her light heartedness, always willing to help attitude. She treated my kids as her own. She is irreplaceable. She loved football, so in that respect, God made out on that trade.
We were friends with Amy through Walnut Hill Bible Church, a fabulous place to worship Christ. A real family atmosphere. We met in Dale Maher's Sunday School class along with Nathan and Chris Considine, Jim and Trisha Vanden Langenberg, and Brian and Sharon Vetger.
On this day, a day before her funeral, a 39 year old woman, wife, friend, and teacher will be layed to rest in her purple casket. Purple was her favorite color. Not fair to us, but will be used by God for good somewhere, somehow. Not for us to know what that is, just yet.
To Vince, your faith has been an example and I am impressed by your strength.
PS. If any publishers out there are looking for an inspiring writer, look at Vince's writings, he is talented!
God Bless,
Pat, Mary, Nick and Rachel Cunningham
